Terms of Service
The terms for running your front desk on Book247.
Plain language, because that's the product too. This is what you agree to by using Book247.

1. Acceptance of terms
These terms govern the use of Book247, a product of The AI Leap. By creating an account, starting a trial, or using the service, the person doing so confirms they are authorized to accept these terms on behalf of the business subscribing.
2. Definitions
- Customer: the appointment-based business that subscribes to Book247.
- End User: a Customer's own patient, client or caller who reaches the Customer through Book247.
- Agent: Book247's AI phone, SMS, WhatsApp and chat agent.
- Service: the Book247 platform, including the Agent, the booking engine, the dashboard and the mobile app.
3. The service
Book247 is one AI agent and one booking engine across phone, SMS, WhatsApp, web chat and a booking widget, writing into a single calendar and, where connected, the Customer's own practice software. Exactly which features are included depends on the Customer's plan.
4. Accounts
A Customer must provide accurate account information and keep login credentials secure. A Customer is responsible for its team's use of the service under the roles it assigns them: owner, manager, staff, provider or viewer, each with different access.
5. Plans, billing and trials
Book247 is billed monthly. As of this writing, plans are Starter ($79/month), Growth ($199/month) and Pro ($399/month), each with an included block of AI minutes and a per-minute rate beyond that, plus a free tier for the booking widget on its own. Current pricing and features are always shown on the pricing page, which controls if this section is out of date.
Trials do not require a card. Subscriptions renew monthly and can be cancelled at any month with no exit fee. Payments are processed by Stripe Connect or, for Indian Customers, Razorpay Route; we do not store card numbers. We'll give advance notice before any price change takes effect on an existing subscription.
6. Customer's responsibilities
The Customer is responsible for having a lawful basis, and any consent required by applicable law, to contact its own End Users; for the accuracy of the hours, providers, rooms and booking rules it configures; and for reviewing the messages sent in its name.
7. Acceptable use
The service may not be used to:
- Break the law, harass anyone, or send messages without the consent the law requires.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell access to the service.
- Impersonate a real person, or misrepresent who or what is contacting an End User.
- Attempt to overload, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
Fair-use limits and per-tenant rate limits apply to keep the service reliable for everyone on it.
8. AI-generated interactions
The Agent only performs the specific actions it has been given tools for: reading availability, matching a customer, holding a slot, booking, rescheduling and cancelling. It does not invent availability, and it never writes to the database outside of those tools. If asked, it discloses that it is an AI agent acting for the Customer, and it transfers to a person on request or after repeated failed identity checks.
Book247 does not guarantee that every interaction resolves without human follow-up; the Agent is built to hand off cleanly when it should, not to avoid handing off.
9. Data and privacy
Use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and, for Customers who need one, a signed Business Associate Agreement, described on the HIPAA & BAA page. The Customer remains the data controller (or Covered Entity) for its End Users' data; Book247 acts as a processor, or Business Associate where applicable, handling that data on the Customer's instructions.
10. Intellectual property
Book247's software, prompts, models and branding remain the property of The AI Leap. The Customer keeps all rights to its own business data, content and trademarks, and grants us only the rights needed to operate the service on its behalf.
11. Third-party services
Voice, messaging and payment vendors integrated into Book247 are subject to their own terms. Number and messaging registrations, such as A2P 10DLC brand registration in the US or WhatsApp template approval, can affect message delivery and are outside Book247's direct control, though we handle the registration process on the Customer's behalf where required.
12. Warranties and disclaimers
The service is provided on a commercially reasonable efforts basis. We do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted at all times. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties beyond what is expressly stated in these terms.
13. Limitation of liability
Neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential damages. Except for breaches of confidentiality or data protection obligations, or where liability cannot be limited by law, each party's total liability under these terms is capped at the fees the Customer paid in the twelve months before the claim.
14. Termination
Either party may terminate at the end of a billing month. We may suspend or terminate an account for material breach of these terms, including non-payment, after notice and a reasonable chance to fix it. A Customer can export its data before or after closing its account, at no charge.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which The AI Leap is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before any formal dispute, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the issue in good faith.
16. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, we update the date at the top of this page. For material changes, we notify Customers by email; continued use of the service after the effective date counts as acceptance.
